Bangkok (22 Mar 2021) – AP (Thailand) PCL., on a mission to EMPOWER LIVING, today, announced great success in building the brand “Apitown”, a new portfolio of low-rise mixed products, as it aggressively expands the market for real-demand homebuyers looking for a new home in major cities around the country. The company has raked in sales in excess of Bht 900 million from the portfolio, reinforcing the trust customers have in Apitown, which is well-received in all the provinces where the company launched 3 pilot projects: Apitown Khon Kaen, Apitown Rayong and Apitown Nakhon Si Thammarat, and led to construction far behind schedule due to overwhelming bookings up until now since last year. In the latest development, AP has established a presence in two more provinces where it launched Apitown Ayutthaya and Apitown Chiang Rai for which Bht 300 million of presales have been booked. The company has expressed confidence in AP’s ‘key success’ quality standard that set the portfolio apart from existing products in the market, citing value practical space, 24-hour smart security innovation as well as superior price package and location as contributor to Aptown’s continued healthy growth.
Mr. Vittakarn Chandavimol, Chief Corporate Strategy and Creation, AP (Thailand) PCL., said, “From a business plan to expand AP’s low-rise presence into major provinces came the brand Apitown, a new portfolio of low-rise mixed products that will meet all the housing needs as our spearhead for market expansion under our important road map called ‘the Masterplan For Tomorrow’, where we look to broaden our scope in creating the blueprint for quality living to tap into real-demand customers among new-generation families aged 30-45 years old – people who look for a new home that is thought out, developed and managed by the country’s foremost property developers. To date, Apitwon has performed well beyond our expectation, with total sales topping Bht 900 million. We have great success gaining strong acceptance in all the provinces we entered.”
“It began with the launch of Apitown Khon Kaen, Rayong and Nakhon Si Thammarat, which met with a resounding success from phenomenal bookings that made us unable to build on schedule. It was AP’s first inroads into the provinces. And in February this year, we continued to expand further with the brand Apitown brought to two more provinces. Now we have Apitown Ayutthaya on the main road (Ayothaya Road), only 900 metres to Central Ayutthaya, near the Government Center and the Rojana Industrial Park, which are only 10 minutes away. There are 441 units of single detached houses and townhomes at Bht 1.99-4.39 million. We also have Apitown Chiang Rai on the main road (Chiang Rai-Chiang Khong Road) near Home Pro Mae Korn, only 15 minutes to Mae Fah Luang Airport. There are 155 units of large single detached houses with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms at Bht 4.49-10 million. We have closed sales in excess of Bht 300 million during the presales for both projects. It is a testament to the confidence and trust customers in major cities have in the brand, the quality team and all the projects developed by AP,” Mr. Vittakarn added.
“There are two strategies behind AP bringing the brand Apitown to tap into the low-rise demand in the provinces to cover all housing needs of Thai people across all regions. The first strategy focuses on going into major cities with interesting potential in four aspects, namely 1. Concrete progress on infrastructure mega-project investment by the government sector; 2. Multi-dimensional economic growth trends; 3. Cities where housing demand growth is promoted; and 4. Cities that are regional educational or medical hubs. The second strategy involves developing products to improve our competitive advantage. The intention to develop and deliver Apitown as the masterplan for the best living today is possible through distinguished points that are superior to existing products in the market,” said Mr. Vittakarn.
“These include a home design that combines technology for modern living, a new allocation of more practical spaces, large common areas with facilities for urban lifestyles under the management of AP-quality standard team pre-and post-delivery as well as a selection of locations and sales packages in line with what is sought by customers in individual provinces for mixed products, including 1-story single detached houses, 2-story duplexes, 1-story townhomes and 2-story townhomes that will make a difference in delivering superior living experiences to housing projects in general, and, importantly, elevate the quality of living to the next level as sought after by our customers,” Mr. Vittakarn added.
“Based on our experience in housing development for urban families, especially now that we are into our 30th year of solid operation with the main mission to EMPOWER LIVING, we are confident of every consequence of our commitment and attention to details concerning the development of Apitown projects as the masterplan for today’s best living. Those sales in excess of Bht 900 million are proof enough. It was a good starting point – even better than our expectation and it reflected the strong demand from customers in major cities and the confidence customers have in all the projects developed by AP. We believe that the two strategies we will put into practice will be evident in the products and services that empower all aspects of life and that it will allow Apitown as AP’s new product portfolio to maintain its growth and continue to be the best first choice in every major city we enter,” Mr. Vittakarn concluded.
